Is it possible to run a standard VCR audio output into a PC's sound card? This will allow me to capture sound from video, which I can then transfer to CD-R using Easy CD Creator. Can this be done through the microphone input?
We don't see why not, as long as you can buy or make up the appropriate connecting lead (you'll need a lead with two male RCA jacks going to a single miniature stereo jack plug). The audio output level from the VCR will be much too high for the sound card's mic input, though, so use the line input instead.
